FAQ #2: What is your adoption process?

An application must be filled out first. Once approved you will be contacted to have a home check done by a volunteer. Once that has been completed & approved a meet & greet with the dog/puppy you are interested in adopted will be set up in your home when all family members are present. This give both you & us the opportunity to see how the potential new member interacts with the family & any existing pets.

FAQ #3: Where are you located?

All of our animals are fostered in the homes of our volunteers; we do not have a physical shelter.

FAQ #4: Do I live within your adoption area?

FurryTail Endings Canine Rescue. is a New Jersey based, all-volunteer, rescue/adoption organization. Potential adopters must reside within a 75 mile radius of  Stewartsville, NJ and NOT in a major city. If you live beyond our geographical boundaries, we hope you will contact rescue organizations closer to your home.

FAQ #5: What are your adoption fees?

Adoption fees are $500 for Puppies up to 11 mos & $450 for Dogs 1 yr & older. $300 for seniors. Due to previous adopters not following the adoption contract, a $100 deposit is required for spay/neuter. Deposit is refundable ONLY if procedure is done by the date on the contract & we receive written proof within 7 days.
